The Nakiri is the traditional Japanese vegetable knife. The straight blade makes it ideal for precise work such as julienne, as well as fine slicing and dicing. The deep blade also means it is the perfect tool for slicing through harder, bigger root vegetables like squash.

Blade range Nashiji

This range of laminated double bevel knives are named Nashiji due to their unique surface pattern similar to that of a pear. "Nashi" means pear in Japanese.

A lovely bit of Monday morning ASMR for you all!
The perfect Easter dessert but the big question is… Custard or Cream?! Answers in the comments pls!

This @jamieoliver Rhubarb Crumble is one of my all time favourite desserts (and I don’t normally like hot fruit! 🤣)

Serves 4

FILLING
400g rhubarb
1 vanilla pod or ½ teaspoon vanilla paste
75g golden caster sugar
2 teaspoons cornflour

CRUMBLE
100g cold unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing
150g plain flour
50g golden caster sugar

Preheat the oven to 200ºC/400ºF/gas 6. Grease an ovenproof dish with a little butter.

Combine all filling ingredients.

Tip the crumble mixture over the rhubarb without pressing down. Place on a baking tray to catch any drips, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.

Serve with hot vanilla custard or cold cream.
Be honest, how many Hot Cross Buns are you going to eat this weekend?! 🐰🍫🔪

Saturday marks 5 years since we lost our Dad to Motor Neurone Disease so we figured it’s time to give a knife away and raise some funds for @myname5doddie foundation!

Link in my bio - let’s try and raise some money for a great cause!

(Also, how has it been 5 years; I feel like it was last week I was chatting rubbish with him sipping margaritas but at the same time, forever since I got one of his hugs)
